Significant progress has been achieved, with 1,311,680 students in alternation as of May 7, representing 13.5% of total enrollment for 2021. However, over 8 million students have yet to return to in-person classes. The return has been uneven, influenced by various factors such as school infrastructure, the implementation of biosecurity protocols, parents&#8217; trust, and the pandemic&#8217;s evolution.
