Despite a 5.4% increase in the number of students taking the test compared to the previous year, the average global score decreased by 2 points. A decline was observed in mathematics and social and citizenship areas, while improvements were recorded in critical reading and English. However, these improvements were more pronounced among students from non-public sectors and higher socioeconomic levels, suggesting an increase in educational gaps. Inequities in access to school resources such as computers and the internet continue to be significant factors affecting academic performance. Furthermore, decreases in scores were recorded in 85% of the education departments, with the largest declines seen in regions such as Amazonas, Sincelejo, Choc\u00f3, Guain\u00eda, and Magangu\u00e9, thus widening regional gaps across the country.     <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This document presents an analysis of the Saber 11\u00b0 exam results in 2021, with participation from 548,507 students enrolled in public and private educational institutions.
