{"id":224025,"date":"2024-08-05T19:42:21","date_gmt":"2024-08-05T17:42:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacionexe.org.co\/document\/youth-education-opinion-survey-urban-rural\/"},"modified":"2024-08-05T19:42:21","modified_gmt":"2024-08-05T17:42:21","slug":"youth-education-opinion-survey-urban-rural","status":"publish","type":"dlp_document","link":"https:\/\/fundacionexe.org.co\/en\/document\/youth-education-opinion-survey-urban-rural\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth Education Opinion Survey \u2013 Urban\/Rural"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW242712467 BCX0\" lang=\"ES-CO\" data-contrast=\"auto\" xml:lang=\"ES-CO\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW242712467 BCX0\">In the first semester of 2024, <strong>the Fundaci\u00f3n Empresarios por la Educaci\u00f3n, in partnership with the National Consulting Center and with the support of the Foundation,<\/strong> <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW242712467 BCX0\"><strong>Botnar<\/strong> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW242712467 BCX0\">conducted the <strong>Youth Education Opinion Survey for individuals aged 12 to 28.<\/strong><\/span><\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW242712467 BCX0\">The study, based on a <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW242712467 BCX0\">quantitative<\/span> instrument <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW242712467 BCX0\">with more than 50 questions divided into eight key themes, <strong>examines the perceptions and experiences of young people regarding education in Colombia.<\/strong> The themes include: access and participation, learning assessment and educational quality, education financing, learning support systems, barriers to education access, transitions, learning environments, mental health and well-being, and career aspirations and expectations.<\/span> <\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW242712467 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":160,\"335559740\":259}\"> <\/span> <span class=\"TextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\" lang=\"ES-CO\" data-contrast=\"auto\" xml:lang=\"ES-CO\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">Between February and March 2024, <strong>3,820 surveys were conducted with young people across the country.<\/strong> <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">The characteristics of this survey sample allow<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\"> to obtain representative results at the national level<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\"> Urban areas <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">and<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\"> rural<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">,<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\"> and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">the<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\"> mens and womens<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\"> at national level<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">.  <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">Additionally, the survey is regionally representative for the regions defined by DANE (National Administrative Department of Statistics).<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">Antioquia, Bogot\u00e1, Caribe, Central, Oriental, Orinoquia-Amazonia, Pac\u00edfica y Valle del Cauca<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">)<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">, and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">for 12 municipalities (<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">Bogot\u00e1, Medell\u00edn, Barranquilla, Cali, Cartagena, Manizales, C\u00facuta, Quibd\u00f3, Necocl\u00ed, Gigante, Villanueva y Tumaco<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW222838683 BCX0\">).
