Analysis of education proposals by candidate José Leonardo Jácome. Plan “Cúcuta Moves Forward United for Security, Well-Being, and Development for All”

This document provides an evaluation of the government plan of candidate José Leonardo Jácome, titled “Cúcuta avanza unida por la seguridad, bienestar y desarrollo para todos” (“Cúcuta advances united for security, well-being, and development for all”). Through a quantitative and qualitative characterization, the plan is analyzed in key areas of education, including coverage, school infrastructure, teachers and school administrators, financing, early childhood, and education for work and development. Finally, some fundamental points are presented that every candidate should include in their government plan in terms of quality, access, coverage and retention, early childhood, and infrastructure.
