This document addresses the importance and need to adjust educational curricula in response to the health crisis, highlighting the relevance of adapting teaching and learning methodologies and processes. It discusses the levels of flexibilization proposed by Garrido (2009), ranging from policy modifications to adjustments in institutional and personal educational projects. Additionally, it mentions the tools and recommendations for effectively implementing curriculum flexibilization, promoting partnerships, collaborative work, inclusion of the community and family, and addressing topics close to students’ realities. Tools developed by educational entities, inspiring conversations, reference documents, and strategies for assessment during the pandemic are provided to support institutions in adapting their educational programs for the safe return to classrooms.
