This document addresses how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the dynamics of the education sector in Colombia, including the assessment of learning through standardized tests. The Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education (Icfes) made modifications to the schedule of the Saber 11º test to adapt to the situation. Although the examination was carried out in person in 2020 with adjustments in its structure to comply with biosafety protocols, ICFES assured that the comparability of the results would not be affected. The Observatory of Educational Management of the ExE Foundation presents a brief analysis of the results of the Saber 11º tests, focusing on categories such as area, sector, areas of knowledge and departments, with the aim of understanding the effects of school closures and isolation measures on student learning in the country during the 2019-2020 period.
