This document analyzes the results of the Saber 11 tests in the second semester of 2021, taken by 486,268 11th grade students enrolled in educational institutions, mostly following the A calendar. This number represents a 6.4% increase compared to 2020-2 and a 5.8% rise over the number of students who took the exam in 2019-2. The Saber 11 tests are a standardized exam conducted by Icfes, which serves as a key measure to assess the quality of basic and secondary education in Colombia. It evaluates the performance level in basic competencies defined according to the Basic Competency Standards, allowing the monitoring of the quality of the education system over time.
